EXPERIENCE
As a Senior Bridge Engineer, Zachary is responsible for the design, analysis, rehabilitation, load rating, and plan production of bridge structures, as well as other transportation structures, including various types of retaining walls. Helping guide and mentor younger staff members is also one of Zachary’s crucial roles.
Before joining Compass, Zachary worked on both highway and railroad bridges and projects using design-bid-build and design-build delivery methods. He served as Project Engineer leading the design and plan production of multiple projects for several different clients ranging from the conceptual Type Study Phase through Construction. He also was involved in evaluating the constructability of projects for both demolition of existing bridges and construction of new ones.
Outside the office, Zachary enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children, being active outdoors, and going back to his hometown and working on his family’s farm.
