EXPERIENCE
As Senior Project Manager and NE Ohio Roadway Department Manager, Sean is responsible for leading roadway and drainage designs, managing technical services, and managing transportation projects where he enjoys working with clients from project conception through final construction.
Sean is technically specialized in hydraulic and drainage design including culverts, closed system storm sewers, open channels, and post-construction storm water management. He started his career as a roadway engineer in North Carolina before moving back to Ohio in 2007. Since then he has primarily worked on Ohio projects for ODOT, Counties, Cities, and other local LPA clients. He has also worked on and completed projects in Indiana, Michigan, and Pennsylvania as well as a freeway project in the Republic of Azerbaijan. Sean has designed and managed various types of projects ranging from $100k pedestrian/bicycle trails to $400M+ major highway projects, including both traditional and design-build delivery. Before joining Compass he served as a Technical Manager, Project Manager and Operations Leader for a mid-sized, regional engineering firm.
Sean and his wife, Melissa, are the parents of three children. He enjoys coaching football, attending his kids’ sporting events, and spending time outdoors hiking, mountain biking, and kayaking.
