EXPERIENCE
As the Traffic Department Manager of the firm, John is responsible for overseeing the execution of top-notch traffic and planning studies and traffic engineering designs for both public and private clients. As a senior project manager, John is entrusted with managing the company's most critical traffic studies and designs for key clients.
With over three decades of experience in the traffic, planning, and safety industry, John is well-versed in client needs and challenges, having worked with both governmental agencies and private consultants. He has proven experitse in both traffic/planning studies and engineering design including advanced signal systems, feasibility studies, road diets, roundabouts, interchanges, and site development/circulation, among others. These projects have included active/multimodal transportation, congestion mitigation, complete streets, data-driven solutions, public-private partnerships, funding, vulnerable road users, equity/accessibility solutions, and more.
When he is not working, John is an avid sports and food fan and enjoys training for endurance events such as marathons and Ironman triathlons (to offset the love of food!). He is married to Jennifer and has two teenage sons who keep them busy with sporting events and college functions.
