EXPERIENCE
As a Senior Bridge Engineer, Ian has been designing and inspecting bridges throughout Ohio and the surrounding states. His responsibilities include leading design teams on a variety of projects, from the preliminary design phases through final plans. He enjoys mentoring the junior engineers and teaching design.
He has spent his career designing all elements of bridges, culverts, and retaining walls, including hydraulic analysis and roadway design around these structures. He's held lead design roles from early on using his comprehensive knowledge to ensure that whether it's a new bridge or a rehabilitation, a highway overpass or a two-lane county road, each structure receives the same amount of care from start to finish.
At home with his wife, Ian wrangles two elementary school kids and enjoys cheering them on in sports, gymnastics, and dance. In his free time, you can find him working on and fixing up his old home or homebrewing beer.
